How To Play Any Version Of Phantasy Star Online For Free04.07.08
As of January 9th, 2008 all Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst servers were taken offline. This PC version of the online game, which was originally released for the Dreamcast, was the last iteration that still had servers up and running. With so many many PSO addicts out there a solution was bound to be found and this solution manifested itself in the form of SCHTHACK Private Servers. Thanks to a community of hackers the freely available Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst setup file has been hacked to allow for free play on SCTHACK’s and other free private servers. I only mention SCHTHACK in particular because their forums have an large amount of information on how to get started and they seem to have a large userbase that’s constantly playing. Last I checked there were around 550 players online. (more…) Grand Theft Auto IV Takes 24 Hours To Complete04.04.08 Previous reports from Rockstar say that the game should clock in at around 50 hours but GamesRadar reports they blitzed through it in 24 for their review. That’s a hard question to answer really. I finished the story mode in 24 hours, without skipping cut scenes, but I literally blitzed through and hardly took on any side missions. If I was to play it again (which I will be, right on launch day!) I’d say to wrap up the story will take at least 40 hours at a normal pace, plus another – say, 25? – to wrap up the remainder of the missions. In truth though, you could be paving the streets of Liberty City in a year’s time and still not have discovered everything. Plus, if you’re a 360 owner, there’s the promise of downloadable content to come…My advice is: just kick back, take your time and breathe every fresh sight and sound in, don’t simply rush through just to finish it before your mates. I wish I’d had that option! So around 65 hours on average to do everything. Then there’s the whole online component and the downloadable content coming in the near future and you’ve got one of the most content packed games in history.
