NEWS FEEDDreamcast Build of Shenmue III Found

A recent post on the official Sega Blog revealed that the company had found an old room filled with every game Sega had ever produced. One of the pictures posted is shown above and upon blowing up the picture it can be seen that there is a Dreamcast build of Shenmue III.
Dear Sega employees, please steal that disc and leak it onto the internet. Shenmue fans everywhere demand it. Well, either that or actually make Shenmue III and release it.

If you’re going to post a fake, it doesn’t make much sense to link to the original on Flickr that….doesn’t say “Shenmue 3″ on the disc you highlighted.

I thought something was fishy when all the other game discs were handwritten, while that one was printed.
ah, so it’s just a crappy photoshop. Oh well as long as I’m here I guess I’ll buy some expensive imported vidya games. lulz

As much as I love Shenmue and hope more than anything that a 3rd will come out soon., I hate to be the bearer of bad news. The disc clearly reads shenmue 3-8. unfortunately, it seems that the disc has the chapters three through 8 on it, which would only be in the first two games of the series. However, i have heard rumors that shenmue three is indeed finished and that the games are on the shelves somewhere at sega, its just whether or not they will be duplicated and put on the market….
