Trusty Bell Chopin no Yume Reprise Screens

06.27.08

I consider Trusty Bell (Eternal Sonata in the US) to be one of those niche-market games. Personally, I loved it. But I love Chopin’s piano music. He was a truly brilliant and gifted composer who died WAY too young, as most geniuses do for some reason or another. When I played the 360 version, I would lose myself in the vibrant colors and fantastical scenery. When I learned that it would be re-released on the PS3, I was excited. Then when I learned that it wouldn’t just be an exact copy, I was thrilled. We’ve known for awhile that there will be two new playable characters: Serenade and Crescendo. The article at GameWatch said that there will be additional costumes, new quests, a new dungeon, new music played by Bunin, and new events.

Here’s Prince Crescendo in action:

And his lovely wife, Serenade:

I just put pictures of the cool new stuff, but there’s much more at GameWatch. As far as I know, there has been no official announcement of this game’s release in the US, so as of right now I’m DEFINITELY importing this. Trusy Bell Chopin no Yume Reprise is due out on the Playstation 3 in Japan on September 18th.
