Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G Hits 1.5 Million Sold In A Week And A Half

According to Game Watch, stores in Japan have been selling out the second new shipments of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G come in. Because of this the title has now sold over 1.5 million copies since it’s release on 03/27/2008, which is only a week and a half. With the entire series only selling 6.8 Million, 2nd G looks to confirm Monster Hunter’s place in Japan as one of the most popular modern day titles around. While MHP2 is out in the US, no release for 2nd G has been confirmed but with numbers this huge it’s only a  matter of time.
