Pepsi is working with the Mexican government to distribute a Tamagotchi like game to the public which deals with healthy eating choices.  This is one incredibly ironic campaign by Pepsi seeing as a lot of obesity stems from the non-diet form of soft drinks.

PepsiCo executive Meyer denies any irony or contradiction. Live Healthily, he insists, is not an attempt to whitewash the company’s image or vaccinate it against restrictive legislation, and nor does it endanger sales. “We are already producing nutritional products,” he says. “The problem is that Mexicans haven’t wanted to buy them.” The Guardian

One good point they raise is that a lot of Mexico’s drinking water isn’t drinkable so Soda is usually the only other option. So in essence using a fun little game to persuade kids to drink healthier Soda products might not be too bad.  In any case this is a decent first step but Mexico needs to do something more than this as the country’s obesity rates continues to skyrocket.
