In just a little over a year since its release the Wii has surpassed the Gamecube’s total sales in Japan. The Wii is at 4,231,044, officially outselling the GC, at 4,179,963. This is huge for Nintendo seeing as those Gamecube numbers took all of 5 years! Thankfully though the Wii is backward compatible as everyone knows so go grab those Gamecube gems like Resident Evil Remake and Luigi’s Mansion on the cheap!
