70+ games are going to disappear December 11th due to licenses being up with EA and several other publishers.
“This game is currently slated for removal from the Gametap service on december 11, 2007. Occasionally, Gametap will rotate titles out of our catalog based on the status of publisher agreements and back from our members. We’re sorry for any inconvenience. Keep coming back to Gametap as we’re adding new titles all the time” Forum
For those wondering here is a list of all the games being removed. While a lot of the games are forgettable classics like MDK, the Ultima series, and Red Alert will be missed.
I’m shocked to see that this company is still up and running. I doubt they’ll survive much longer.
I am shocked about the games retired, I do hope the list will build up with newer more intence gaming.
