33 Million in Sales

$33 Million = Good.
LOL… 33 million in sales + 7.8 million downloads… that’s hardly bad considering they are old NES and SNES games, and the fact that you can emulate them all and get them for free online.
lol ya, i wouldnt sonsider that shabby at all….
$33 million is definitely a lot! The Nintendo Wii’s sure sell quick.
The numbers don’t seem to add up:
The lowest costing download is an NES game for $5. There were 7.8 million downloads and a total gain of 33 million dollars. Divide the 33 million dollars by the 7.8 million downloads, and the average comes out to be about $ 4.23 per download. There’s no download below $5. How does that happen?
this math doesn’t look right, 33 million dollars off of 7.8 million downloads comes out to less than 5 dollars each. How can they be making less than 5 bucks on average when the average cost of a VC game is 8 dollars.
Umm, I’m assuming that the downloads number includes the free channels such as News, Weather, Vote, and the New Mii channel, also Internet channel (if you downloaded it early enough)
The math is right if not everyone downloaded games. You can easily buy Wii points without using them!
When doing the math, bear in mind that they sell the prepaid cards, so the points on these cards may have not been redeemed yet.
I am sure they count the free downloads in their figures.
They may be including the free downloads, such as Everybody Votes and the Internet Channel. Who knows? What else could be the explanation other than inaccurate numbers?
They have to share 33 M with the partners or pay taxes
The downloads obviously include free web browser and free mii channel downloads etc, so it does add up.
It may take into account the overhead such as server space and bandwidth used for downloads.
There are free downloads… Wow USE YOUR HEAD..
As for the people that say the numbers dont add up…you do realize those are net and not gross figures? this shit aint free son
The downloads could include free Wii ware like the internet channel, as well, which still goes through the Wii shop.
They are probably counting repeat downloads in their total. You know, if you remove a VC game from your system, you can download it again at no cost.
IT PRINTS MONEY!!!!
